About Kwai Chung

Background

S.K.H. CROWN OF THORNS CHURCH KWAI CHUNG KINDERGARTEN was founded in 1998 which is a non-profit-making early childhood educational organization, operated by S.K.H. CROWN OF THORNS CHURCH.
The kindergarten was established by the S.K.H. CROWN OF THORNS CHURCH at Texaco Road in Tsuen Wan originally. Because of the Town planning, the Church was demolished and rebuilt.

The former Education Department invited S.K.H. CROWN OF THORNS CHURCH to operate a new kindergarten at Kwai Chung Estate. S.K.H. CROWN OF THORNS CHURCH KWAI CHUNG KINDERGARTEN was born.

Mission

In the name of Jesus’ love, SKH Crown of Thorns Church Kwai Chung Kindergarten offers quality education to;

  • Develop the potential of the children and nurture their imagination and creativity;
  • Help children to build up a positive outlook on life and teach them love, gratitude and forgiveness;
  • Nurture the children’s moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual development in an environment of love and happiness.
